Many thanks. Very good morning to you all.
Mr. Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires, Mr Mayor Joseph C. Paz: You do not know the deep emotion that always overwhelms me when I come here to Joseph C. Peace. First, because it reminds me a lot to him, he loved them, but also because recently when I heard the words of Mario, about what the landscape, the geography of Joseph C. Peace back in 2002 or 2003, I was reminded of an act by which I came to speak, was emerging Nestor's candidacy for president, almost no one knew him, came to a tiny act that do not know who had organized at the end of 2002, next to some tracks, the train passed and I remember Joseph C. Peace, I am reminded of Argentina also in those years 2002 and 2003. I remember nearly 25 percent of the unemployed in our country, I remember the lack of works, housing, sewers, pavements, schools, I remember the endless white tents over the years settled in Argentina, because education was somewhat relegated almost seen as a tax expenditure. I remember the despair and disillusionment of the "throw them all" people screaming because I felt that politics had become an enemy of their interests and their well-being of their own, of their family. And I see today is Argentina, which is still true that we lack things to do, see the province of Buenos Aires, this Joseph C. Peace today and say many things we have done, how we have transformed the country over the years in which together we have worked side by side. (Applause.) Sometimes I wonder if that was not titanic struggle he carried on and which always accompanied him, when he faced because he did not address the things he faced in the body, head, with his health if he necessary to take things forward.
Thus, in these eight years have generated millions and millions of jobs, the country has returned to the bargaining between employers and employees that puts us ahead of all Latin America in terms of salaries, purchasing power and organizational association, no doubt, in a privileged place. (Applause)
Hundreds of thousands of homes built in the country, here in Joseph C. Paz, more than 8,000 homes. Mario Tell me, how did they not built here? The year '45 with Eva Peron, were the last houses and social plans that were built. (Applause)
Mario says, "58 schools here in José C. Paz, over a thousand schools throughout the territory of our beloved country, teachers guaranteed wage floors throughout and across the country, more than 6 percent for education, university buildings, on university salaries.
also our retired, was almost a myth, it was almost commonplace when I was a parliamentarian, I remember like it was yesterday, Wednesday became the march of retired before Congress to ask for improvements. Today we have added more than 2 ½ million Argentines to retirement benefits, a retirement since he was president had increases that took those embarrassing 150 pesos that were perceived, and then enshrined in law the mobility retirement two annual increments, having recovered the resource management of workers. Not to mention the Universal and Son, now lets get the benefit not to turn pointer but with dignity it deserves, who receives a grant from the State because you do not get a salary that can sustain it. (Applause.) Yesterday
no more, the foremost specialist on the United Nations social programs, Bernardo Kliksberg, told me in the Hall of the Argentine Women Bicentennial of the Casa Rosada, the allocation plan is the universal child most important plan in the world to allocate part of the GDP to the most vulnerable sectors of society. (Applause)
And now I've also added the provision for pregnant women, because we are committed to life, because we care for life. Because this assignment is also intended for the protection of human dignity women, gender of our partners, who were also major victims of neoliberal policies, which often were at the head of household because the fellow out of work is going.
Therefore I tell all Argentines that we must deepen the policies but we must also take care of this model, I think the history of Argentina has often been discussed with sterile confrontation with useless confrontations, but above all things ourselves often inadvertently end up undermining the foundations of what constitutes a true guarantee for the popular welfare. I want to address all of my colleagues, all my colleagues workers along and across the country to tell us, and I can display the title alongside my partner, we have done more than anyone in history to end the exploitation of workers. (Applause.) Not only from Argentina have reinstalled in the collective bargaining agreements that have allowed not only improve the purchasing power but also the working conditions of millions of Argentines, the actual allocation for Child Universal is also a powerful tool that prevents people to be exploited for two coins in many regional economies, I know what I'm talking about and they know all Argentines. (Applause.) And we will continue to fight against exploitation, We will continue demanding that those sectors of the economy that those business sectors with profitability also improved pay and working conditions of our workers, because history is in our DNA, not now, when we were young and fought for a homeland for all Argentines, along with millions of other young people. (Applause)
I also tell them that fight against exploitation but also do not have to let another phenomenon that arises is that of extortion, I do not want or exploitation or duress in Argentina, or to one side or the other I want to live in a more rational society. (Applause) Let me tell you what I feel as President of all Argentines when I see that there is precisely from the sectors that are better, they have good jobs, who have made good wages, for there its leaders subject us to practices that are bad for themselves and do not realize that ultimately end up discrediting the union movement, it is important to keep united and organized in the country.
But I also say, as Mario spoke of trade unions, trade union that the word derives from another word that was what gave rise to unions here and around the world and that is solidarity, not just someone who calls for himself, is someone who also sees the whole society and see what the other lacks, why you know what? When a union only hits him or cares what happens to its members and from attitudes that takes end up harming the entire society ceases to be a union to become a corporation, and I want unions in solidarity with all Argentines. (Applause)
I want to tell colleagues that I will always be on the side of workers since this is not a neutral government, this is a government that wants to continue to improve the purchasing power of workers, but also knows that we we have to reach all sectors and can not be held hostage by those an activity that can affect the rest of society. And I also say a lot of pain out there because I've played when I decided to retrieve entire Aerolineas Argentinas to the Argentines, I played a whole and I was criticized all parties, except those who supported us in the Congress center, because I bet, I bet and I'm betting on our flagship airline, because I'm betting on an Aerolineas Argentinas for all in all, not just those who work there. We are putting millions of dollars and want a service that works for all Argentines, we can not continue to have conflicts that harm the image and mainly serve to give tribute to a speech wants essential services of our country are held by the State or can not be controlled by the state as happens everywhere in the world.
So I ask everyone, look, I'm going to say something, everyone in politics, everyone wants to become president, of course, does not bother me, and it's good to have ambitions as well, it's good are played out there even though they know they can not win, because there are some that if they are not winners, they are not politicians, are nothing but Kirchner I remember, I remember this political race as it was Nestor without cost or consequence measure was thrown into battle because he believed, because I had ideas, because he had convictions and beliefs when you have no matter win or lose, the important thing is to live and bear witness that you live to honor those beliefs, if you're so sure of what he thinks and what he says. (Applause)
But I say to you all because I love them and every time I come here only receive love and affection, that I'm not dead for kids to be president again, I already gave it everything I had to give, I do not go running. I want to say I'm doing a huge physical effort to staff and to move forward and in any case if there are some who believe that another model may be better, who believe they have had or have as much power to twist wills for this model to be discredited, I would say that they will not tell me.
why I speak honestly, I speak frankly because I'm tired of hypocrisy, I'm tired of that claim to help and live the name of Cristina and the next day do the exact opposite for this to have problems or collapsing . The truth, the truth companions, too, is too much because there are too many things that have put us and here if I did not want to talk and as a militant nor a political party or an industry, want to talk about what you all have and I will understand, your family, mine, my children and this poor woman we have much, we have given much, have given a lot. (Applause.) So when
today toured this center that we have to open, when we deliver the machine in cooperatives, where workers see the recovered-which hopefully will soon approve the bankruptcy law to those recovered in Congress National-I tell them I love them, that I love very much, but we also understand that a country can not only make a president or a president, it takes responsibility and maturity especially those that share this model and this project. (Applause)
why I want to tell everyone and thank you, thank you from the heart, because every time he came here as received with love, he loved to come to Joseph C. Peace, Mario also loved you very much for you, you know fair, you said today about the loyalty currency face, no, loyalty is not expensive currency is scarce currency, which is another thing. So the loyalty of the people, so the loyalty of millions of Argentines to a model that returned the hope and so also the addition of hundreds of thousands of young people who did not believe in politics, look what a country we have built, which them all thousands and thousands of young people joining politics, look if we have not done things. (Applause)
why I want to finish by thanking all of these years of loving heart, affection, love, because I'll never forget. Thank you very much Joseph C. peace, thank you very much at all, I love them.
